Destiny Mestiny – When I Look Back …

Destiny Mestiny – When I Look Back …

“When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny.” ― Paulo Coelho, The Devil and Miss Prim

When I look back, over my shoulder as the song goes, it’s as if I am watching a movie - The "Destiny mestiny" ... Or even better, I find myself entering the gates of a Mexican soap opera hacienda. It’s as if the past cycle of 9 years was somebody else’s life. Not mine. I guess this is what happens when one lifts their vibration. They move on to the next level, a brand new dimension. At the same, yes indeed. Life does not look back.  But now. Life is happening now.

When you’re cornered in the door, forced into either following your heart although somehow you sense something isn’t right, yet you are forced into making those steps on the path of destiny – al maktoob.

Give in, to the moment.

What about destiny? Should we give in to destiny? Can we alter it? And how? By what means?

Destiny is it to be challenged or accepted? In his book, Conversations with God N.D. Walsch mentions the free will… I don’t know about that. Whenever I am asked to make a suggestion, I revert to the “greatest master” – Life itself.

It’s very difficult to say this is this and this is that.

The Universe is so vast. Made of algorithms of infinite complexity. An infinite harmonious in its balance. For the tiniest possibility of 0,00000000 always ends in 1. There is one at the end of this road of possibilities. So that, no matter how out of the ordinary our wishes or desires may seem, there is always that one chance out there. You just gotta be driven and maybe nuts enough to take your best shot at it. It’s that drive of infinite madness that leads you through, in the very parking lot of that 1 in a million chance.

That’s what Simona Halep said during the press conference following the match against Serena Williams, “I took my best shot at it. I didn’t think of the outcome. But of making the best of now.”

Surely somewhere, in one of drawers of our minds, we do visualize victory. That’s how we achieve it. That’s how we accomplish our destiny.

So what is destiny, after all? Is it a star to follow? What does the “great master” have to say on this?

Sometimes “Life” forces us to follow one shiny stinky path alone. The Labyrinth of the "Survival Mode" we’re assigned. The very moment our soul is embarked on the physical embodiment with a predestined mission on Earth, it is also given related magic potion – the means to make it through. Sometimes, the aforementioned free will to choose is given only and only after having made it through the only choice ever given – not having any other choice but making it.

That’s what the survival mode is about. Live or die. Fight or flight. Limits stretched to the maximum one ought to perform, to give their best. Hence altering one’s destiny, is possible. It is by accepting it that it is altered, in the very first place.  Like a video game, once the mission is accomplished, the gift of free choice shall be granted. So how about one played it the alchemist?

“Love, too, was just a question of time” or timing?
Yet, God is never late.
God is always on time.
Always on time for You.
For me and You. You and me.
