12 — The Red Rose Day with Damascene Rose

I come from a Rose, the Damascene Rose...

12 — The Red Rose Day

Today, on the Red Rose Day, the Universe has granted me crimson red roses, once again.

The colour of the Resurrection, the colour of Love, and to me, the colour of El Flamenco.

And though I see red, most of the time, the Damascene Rose is pink, by definition.

And today baby Erik, the 10-day old baby boy of Lady S, has sent me his “Happy Birthday” regards via the sweetest smile.

And today marks the first day of the New Year for Me.

Again, it’s raining… petals of roses on me.

And I am loving it, at least 12 times:

1.

Baby Erik has just joined us, with this incarnation.

A brand new world to him.

And so it is, to me.

The energy of my life feels brand new.

I have been working on this for the past couple of years, intensively, diligently, and intentionally.

The roots of the rose have been quite solid.

We do have a significant heritage of roots on both sides, Damascene and Romania.

Nevertheless, the leftovers for our generation … have gone quite dry.

So dry that the transgenerational passage needed a serious shower of roses.

The very infusion of light.

And it is by the Mercy and Love of the Mystical Rose that the inherited seeds of Damascus have turned into star seeds. And She's had deployed a fertile blanket for a fresh new garden.

Next, within the story of my life: somewhere beyond this thin veil… to which my eyes do not have access yet.

Thou shalt thank all the characters of your life for having helped you clean up the generational and karmic mess.

Yet this is a story for another time.

In the here, there is now:

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could. (...)
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterday.”

2.

As the pink sheep of the family, I have had to face many challenges.

Being never understood never accepted or very slightly loved... according to my ways & standards, of course.

And most often, it must have been cognitive dissonance.

In the once upon a time, I’d be mocked at and for going to the theatre or reading so much.

I’d be bullied a lot, especially by a relative, who is no more.

I mean... she is not visible on the horizon of my life.

Hence why am I making mention of this moment of invisibility?

Because the rain of encouragement and kind words is so important. It generates showers of inner abundance, the very fuel to go on. I haven't received, till recently, but very few to very dry drops of encouragement from my blood family. Instead, I had received blizzards of toxic bullying and narcissistic ugly words.

The chorus? "You are not enough. Nothing you ever do is or can be enough."

Do, more. Work, more. No one has ever told me:

"Be, more. Relax, more. Love yourself, more. And take it breath by breath."

Hence I have outsourced rains of strokes and encouragement from Turkey, Damascus, India... until I have succeeded in creating my own, my inner rain. This downpour of roses follows me everywhere I go. The photos of the roses stand as proof of it.

Needless to say that this process of alchemy has the pattering rain of abundance pour inside out.

And it's raining, relentlessly, as we speak.

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I – I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference.”
– Robert Frost.
3.

Baby Erik has just joined us, with this incarnation.

A brand new world to him.

And so it is, to me.

The heavy downpour seems to be telling me:

“I may not be perfect and yet I am a great decade, already. Trust me.”

The skies have split open and it is raining both Emerging Souls, such as those of Erik and of the New Lady Friends.

What is very astonishing for me is that my personal magnet has been attracting New Souls into the Garden of Roses from here, from beautiful Romania.

I have met a few new Lady Friends, who are so very cool… We have known each other. And now it was time for us to rejoin.

Beautiful, lovely, smart and extremely cool ladies.

I’ll allow for that to sink in…

4.

The Rose stands tall and endures all seasons.

And she endures, and endures, patiently, resiliently and fiercely.

Yet, when that one last drop of remaining patience is exhausted, there is no way back.

The road ends there.

The rose feels the Divine Timing, knows when it’s time to dwell upon, and when it’s time to move on.
5.
The breath of rain becomes Us, under the rain.
6.

And the rain has kissed me, gently, today.

Yes. Today, too.

So gently, that the Universe has offered me red roses.

And every day is an abundance of roses, thankfully.

Had I waited on the manifestation of the “Habibi” for flowers and roses, I’d …

And Roses find me.

Always.

7.

The drop of you lingers.

Why think of you when I can BE?

Giving me your absence is by now, outdated.

Absence has been, while presence hasn’t.

Rain feels like presence. A constant presence. And I love that.

8.

Alexandru, my nephew, paid us a visit.

I returned from the coffee shop so eager to meet his funniness and sweetness. And his infinite smile.

One thing for sure though, his nose takes after his Arab grandpa.

And... I told his father, Abu Alexandru:

"I'd rather keep the story to myself and not speak of it. You know how communication runs not in our family."

And he replied:

"I say: speak what you feel anyway."

Abu Alexandru told her to speak her truth no matter what. Moreover, Tatal lui Alexandru sent her one of the most beautiful 'Happy Birthday' wishes. So kind and so sincere...

And Lady Wisdom added:

"Yes. Speak your truth with your Family Tribe.

Don't waste your energy on relatives or Madame Julieta in the waves of cognitive dissonance. Because cognitive dissonance is a never-ending story."

9.

I can only bear of you as much as you give away.

Should you love and tell her not, then how is she supposed to embrace the drops of you?

Should she keep her caring self and allow not for the drops of interest to pour out, then how will he know she wants to stay, today and every other day, in the forever contained within now?

Make sure you exude… you rain out the essence of yourself.

How could I feel you, hadn’t I breathed the drops of you in?

“Roses do not bloom hurriedly; for beauty, like any masterpiece, takes time to blossom.”
― Matshona Dhliwayo
10.

Roses of passion found me today, under the rain.

They accompanied me to and at the coffee shop.

Always with me, wherever I go.

Be it sunshine, be it rain, the rose withholds — the moment.

For the rose knows. The Rose is in and with the moment.

And today is the Red Rose Day, celebrated worldwide.

And roses are every moment of the day.

Make no mistake, roses indulge the now. This is how they give away their fragrance.

11.

Damascus…. smelled lovely, also and especially, after the rain.

She had this fragrance of fresh magic spiced up with infinite stories of true love, heritage and life.

Damascus bears Her Self differently, under the rain.

12.

La Rosa Damascena... Lady Pink!

And since, I come from a Rose, the Damascene Rose,

I take pride, by now, in being the Pinkish Sheep of the Family.

As a matter of a fact, I have started enjoying it to the fullest.

And the best is yet manifesting.

Already.
